So I'm sitting here on the couch, alone on a friday night when I should be out socializing, and thinking to myself as I'm listening to my music, I wonder if I can make a list of all the concerts I've been to? Well here is my attempt to try and remember them all and keep myself occupied...
Collective Soul - 1997 @ Saltaire, 1999 @ The E Center, and 2007 @ Stubbs BBQ
U2 - 1997 @ Rice Stadium, 2005 @ The Pepsi Center, and 2009 @ Reliant Stadium
Breaking Benjamin - 2004 and 2005 @ The Venue
A Perfect Circle - 2000 x2 @ The E Center, and Saltaire (In 2000 they opened for NIN)
Travis - 2007 @ La Zona Rosa, and 2009 @ Central Presbyterian Church(The last one was only half the band)
Hootie and the Blowfish - 1996 @ The Delta Center(My First Concert)
Metallica - 1998 @ Weber State University's Football Stadium
Sting - 2000 @ The E Center
Moby - 2005 @ The Venue
Rage Against The Machine - 1997 @ Rice Stadium (Opening for U2)
Vast - 2004 @ a place that probably doesn't exist anymore in Salt Lake City
Buck 65 - 2005 (Opening for Moby)
Kings Of Leon - 2005 (Opening for U2)
Muse - 2009 (Opening for U2)
Coldplay - 2008 @ American Airlines Center
Owl City - 2009 @ Emos
Dave Matthews Band - 2004 @ USANA Ampitheater
Jason Mraz - 2004 (Opened for Dave Matthews Band)
Slightly Stoopid - 2009 @ Stubbs BBQ
Filter - 2008 @ Emos
MDFMK - 2000 @ Bricks (later became The Venue)
Thornley - 2004 @ The Venue (opened for Breaking Benjamin)
Nine Inch Nails - 2000 @ The E Center
Josh Turner - 2007 @ Austin Rodeo
Van Halen - 2004 @ The Pepsi Center
The Flys - 1998 @ X96 Big Ass Show
This is just a list of larger bands that I've seen throughout the years. As I lived in Austin the past 3 years, I've seen alot of smaller, local bands and have enjoyed them as well. I have to say that my favorites were Coldplay, Collective Soul, Moby, Travis, Filter and all time favorite, U2. Oh, and if you are wondering what concerts the pictures up top were at, the one of the left was Coldplay during the Viva La Vida tour in 2008 and the right picture was from U2 during the 360 tour in 2009. I hope you've enjoyed reading this. :)
